We believe that it's important that our users be protected and enjoy the best possible experience. With this in mind, we take the time to verify each account to ensure that all new users are real people (not robots), have a full profile with multiple pictures, and have taken the time to fill their profile descriptions. We try to ensure that eligible users are validated within the first 72 hours of applying. Once validated, you will have full access to enjoy wügo and can begin to utilise the platform to spontaneously connect with real people.

All new users are put through a rigorous 'validation' process to ensure that the wügo community is only populated by real people (not robots) who have taken the time to populate their profile with multiple pictures and descriptions. If you have filled these requirements, you will be put through to the validation list and we will strive to validate you within the first 72 hours of applying. Once validated, you will have full access to enjoy wügo and can begin to utilise the platform to spontaneously connect with real people.
The minimum age requirement for wügo in the United Kingdom is 17 years of age. If you’re under 17 years of age you may not use this service.
Absolutely! wügo encourages you to explore and discover new people. As long as you don’t press ‘X’ on the person’s profile you will be able to see them and swipe back and forth to your heart’s content! Note that the same users may come back into your feed once they have posted new activities.

Scroll down and select ‘Show My Instagram Photos’
Scroll down and select 'Connect Instagram'
Note: If your Instagram account is set to private (i.e, only your friends can see your photos) and if you choose to connect your Instagram to your wügo account, wügo users will be unable to see your most recent Instagram photos. This won't affect your privacy settings on Instagram.

To edit your profile, tap the icon on the top left-hand corner of the main screen, tap on your profile photo, and edit. You can add up to 6 photos (or 5 photos and one GIF), edit your bio, add ‘What you do’ and ‘What you are like’, connect your Instagram, select your ‘Favourites’ and a bit ‘About you’.
Make sure you have the latest version of wügo. If the issue persists, please try again later.
To add a profile photo or change one, please click on the cog-wheel icon on the top left of your main screen. Once there, click on your profile picture and once on your profile click on the 'pencil' icon on the top right of your picture, there you can add a picture or remove a picture by pressing 'x' and replace it with another.

wügo is built to facilitate real-world connections, as such; we strive to make sure that our users take time to consider each match as they would in the real world, with patience and time. Keys are designed to unlock the profiles of those that have shown an interest to do an activity with you before you can start chatting to them. You will receive 10 free keys per activity which allows you to unlock the profiles of up to 10 people. Once unlocked - you may select one person to start up a conversation. If you do not want to chat with that person any longer you may close the chat: click on the top right corner of the chat page, click ‘Info’ in the pop up menu, In the next page, click the ‘pencil icon’ on the top right, scroll down the page and click on the next person you want to speak to.
You can get 5 more free keys by simply referring a friend to the app, from within the app. You will get an extra 5 keys for every person you refer.
You can find all your messages and connections in the top right menu on your main screen.
No, you need to connect with someone and unlock using a ‘Key’ before you can chat with them.
If you do not want to chat with that person any longer you may close the chat: click on the top right corner of the chat page, click ‘Info’ in the pop up menu, In the next page, click the ‘pencil icon’ on the top right, scroll down the page and click ‘Cancel Event’, and confirm ‘Yes’.
You can report users that you have already connected with, and users you haven’t connected with. To report someone, please email support@wugoapp.com and we will investigate the matter with urgency.
For security purposes, if you want to delete your account, you’ll need to do it directly on the app. You will permanently lose your connections, messages and all other information associated with your account.
To delete your account, follow the steps below:
If you deleted the app, download the app again
Go to 'Settings' or the cog wheel on the top left corner of the app
Go to ‘About’
Scroll down and select 'Delete Account'. You'll see a message that says 'Delete Account?'. Press ‘Delete’ and your account and information will all be deleted
Do bear in mind that if you log in again after deleting your account, we will create a whole new account for you.
